Dentures and Partials
We design custom dentures and partials that look natural, fit comfortably, and restore your smile.
Whether you’re missing several teeth or an entire arch, our goal is to help with comfort, function, and confidence through personalized care and modern design.
Each denture is custom-made to fit your unique mouth shape, but it’s important to remember that comfort and stability can vary from person to person. Dentures can be a great option for many patients, though they may not be the ideal solution for everyone — we’ll help you explore all available options to find what’s best for you.
Partial Dentures
Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain. They fill gaps with replacement teeth supported by a comfortable metal or acrylic framework that clips around your existing teeth.
Best for: Patients missing multiple teeth but not a full arch.
Immediate Dentures
Immediate dentures are temporary dentures placed right after tooth extractions, allowing you to maintain appearance and function while healing before your final dentures are made.
Best for: Patients needing extractions who prefer not to go without teeth during healing.
Overdentures
Overdentures are removable dentures that fit over a few remaining natural teeth or specially prepared roots.
They provide better support and help preserve the underlying bone.
Best for: Patients with some strong, healthy tooth roots who want more stability.
Can You Eat with Conventional Dentures?
Yes, you can eat with conventional (non-implant) dentures, but it will not feel the same as chewing with natural teeth.
It’s normal for eating to be difficult at first, especially with lower dentures, which tend to have less suction and stability.
Over time, most patients adjust; however, retention can still be limited—particularly when chewing tougher foods.
For improved stability and comfort, we strongly recommend placing at least two lower implants to help secure the denture and significantly enhance chewing ability.
Caring for Your Dentures and Partials
Daily care keeps your dentures clean, fresh, and long-lasting. Without proper maintenance, dentures can harbor bacteria, develop odor, and become stained or warped.
Tips for care:
- Clean carefully: Always clean over a soft towel or a sink filled with water to prevent breakage if dropped.
- Use gentle cleansers: Avoid abrasive toothpaste—use products with the ADA Seal
- of Approval or those recommended by your dentist.
- Keep moist: Store your dentures in water or cleaning solution when not in use to prevent drying and shape changes.
- Maintain oral hygiene: Clean your gums, tongue, and cheeks daily.
- Regular checkups: Visit every six months to ensure proper fit and check for tissue or bone changes.
How Often Should Dentures Be Replaced?
Dentures typically last 5 to 10 years, depending on care and changes in your mouth.
Over time, natural bone resorption can cause your dentures to feel loose or uncomfortable. If you notice looseness, irritation, or difficulty chewing, it may be time for an adjustment or replacement.

Went in not really knowing what to expect, honestly kinda nervous about the whole implant thing. Dr. Nguyen was super chill about it and just explained everything in a way that actually made sense. I asked a bunch of questions and never felt rushed or pushed into anything. Staff was really nice too and the office felt clean and modern. Glad I came in and I feel a lot better about moving forward now.Posted on Dallas EdwardsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
