What happens on surgery day?

It starts before that, with a free consultation and a 3D scan that shows Dr. Nguyen how much bone you have and whether anything else is needed. On surgery day you take oral sedation with nitrous oxide, your remaining teeth are removed, the implants go in, and a fixed temporary set is attached. Most patients leave with those teeth the same day or within 24 hours. Your final teeth are made once the implants have healed, usually a few months later.

Before you book

Will I need bone grafting?: Sometimes. It depends on your bone and the extraction sites, and Dr. Nguyen decides case by case after the 3D scan.
How long do the teeth last?: Under ideal conditions implants can last a long time, but not for life. Zirconia teeth usually last 10 to 15 years with good care; acrylic wears sooner.
Do you take insurance? Can I finance?: We are out of network with all insurance plans, and our team files claims for you. Financing is available through CareCredit, Cherry and Proceed Finance, including 0% APR plans, subject to credit approval.
